they play a piano sample in the background and all of a sudden its justified. whats wrong with driving a real car?

Aye but the graphics dont look as good as GT5. Better than Forza though.

Seen something similar to this on The Gadget Show. F1 & Rally drivers use it to learn a new track or stage.

I'd love a go...

You couldn't put a drowsy/ drunk/ cracked up person in a real car on real streets. But you can simulate it.
