I reemoved my whole heater control panel and split it into its parts as the little lights were not lighting up the left and right controls
I replaced the bulbs and stuck them into the part where the rear demister button clips on, and plugged this bit back into its socket to make sure all worked before putting the dash together, HOWEVER
The two new bulbs (righ and left) only light up when the cars power is on, irrespective of whether the lights are on or not
And now it appears the central button, inside all that plastic has blown as it wont come on at all... How do i get inti it!

ballax I fiddled and fiddled and blew the middle bulb, i never realised they should be on all the time!!! thanks

you need to remove the entire assembly to get at it, its a bastard to do!!!!

I am currently finding that out, do you remove the plug bit at the back with theconnectors to get in and at the back of the white cylinder that contains the bulb??
