you're insinuating that bikers only ride bikes to save fuel? most bikers have a car and a bike and use the bike in summer time, it's enjoyable. Not just to save fuel. You'll get better MPG in a corsa than on some bikes

Take some high performance ducatis for instance, some do 25odd MPG.

I only got 100miles to a tank recently

Just worked it out 34MPG.
