If this is still relevant then please do not go with Adrian Flux - they are, to put it bluntly, Robbing cunts.
Brentacre all day long from me... slightly more expensive but FREE (non-performance) mod changes and NO admin fee for each time you call them up.

Was insuring mine as a 2.0 for £1174 with brentacre when i was yourr age.
I would have got insurance quotes before buying the car though.

I ensured my 20xe astra gte for 1700 with Endsliegh when I was 21 with 1 years NCB. A months ban and a few points later, a year on its £3000 Not driving it anymore, had to go for a 1.2 Nova lol
You could try going under a parents name or something?
Go third party fire and theft with a high excess and low annual milage?

that is exactly what my dad said lol iam young and made a misstake lol iam going to store it in garge till i can get it insured i think dont want to drive it with insurance for a 1.6 like iv been told of a load of people il stick to the trusty 1.216v
