Just wondering if you can use an A-Frame on a car with no MOT and such like? Is that legal? Just having a discussion with a mate who says both cars then effectively becomes one car really and my insurance etc then covers that. Is this correct as im not too sure

I'm not so sure mate, I think there's some law that at least one axle needs to be off the ground or something?

Other car needs tax and test not sure how insurance works with a frame tbh.

In that case it will have to be a towing dolly if it doesnt need tax/test, is that correct as both front wheels are off the floor?

If it dosnt have tax,all 4 wheels must be off the ground iirc.Not sure about MOT though.

Just to add, Needs to have MOT, Tax, Insurance to even have one wheel on the ground.
