I've insured the 350 again as I can't take it sitting there not being used. Plus I need to be able to drive it as it could be getting exchanged which would mean the golf will go up for sale.
1st quote - admiral - £930 for 10 months. Phoned them up for them to say I can't do the 10 months as I have too many no claims, 12 months would be 1020. So I said no and hung up.
2nd quote - confused.com/admiral - £950 for 12 months. Phoned admiral back with the ref for this quote but confused had put it through as an import. So the guy changed it to UK etc which provided the 3rd quote.
3rd quote - admiral after correcting confused quote - £820 for 12 months.
LOL!

i filled out an admiral online quote, then phoned them up with quote on screen and he couldn't match it, he filled out all the forms there again.
i refreshed my screen and it went up £40, and the original quote could never be found again

You do realise on screen prices are to be paid in a lump sum? pay monthly adds quite a bit
Whatever happened to quarterly payments?
I seem to remember a few companies offering this back in the day

I went from a 12v corsa to a 1.6 16v and the insurance company only charged an extra £40 for six months .
