I have epilepsy, got banned until I was clear for 12 months, never told my insurance, docs told me I didn't have to. Also it's something that can happen to anyone, I'm on medication to control it and have been clear since so technically I'm safer than those who aren't. Also from what I'm told by the doctors anyone who faints/passes out for no reason should be banned for 12 months

Yeh, after my accident I had to be year fit free, did that so got my licence back and bought 4 corsas in the time I had my licence. Then randomly had one six months ago

I still own the one in my avatar though

You need to inform the DVLA if you intend to drive even if it's been more than a year. Your insurance company will ask you if you have any medical conditions that you've informed the DVLA about. So...
