Yes, loads of scope for tuning, catered for by all the tuners, cheap to run in the grand scheme of things. I'd have on in a second.

Bog standard performance isn't anything to write home about these days, but as has been mentioned easily tunable (and quite cheap as loads of the Astra VXR parts fit). Comfortable, decent leg room in the front and back, useful boot. Mid 30's mpg when cruising and 160mph top end with some tweeks.

We love ours!

with a uprated exhust system vxr turbo, ingectors, intercooler and remap you'll see 300bhp all day long garenteed sorry for my spelling >.<

No you wont, 270-280 perhaps, wont get 300 though, guranteed.

My Astra GSI was Regal Phase 3.5 and it bored the pants off me. Prefered my standard CTR to it.

i'd love to agree with you but its been done. granted it wasn't my car but i did travel with the guy to the dyno runs and know what it produced. It also managed a 13 second quater mile. although it was 13.98 ^_^
