arrrr went to pick the gf up in the evo and wasnt paying attention and scrappppppppppp arrrrrrrrrrrrrr marked the wheel slightly and took a 3 inch long scuff from my red pin stripe round the edge

my question is when they referb an allloy do they add material back in or just smooth it out

If it's a proper place it will be smoothed out evenly so as not to put the wheel out if balance
if it's really bad it may need welding

not not that bad for welding, i was so pissed off

luckily it was just a slight scrap but still took about a 1 - 2 mm deep scuff around the rim

whats the average price

Same happened to me the other day. Kerb covered in snow so didn't see it

Not like they're not all kerbed up anyway

thats not to bad, i need it re spraying in matt black and having the red pin stripe but back on i will pay up to £100 max

Yeah, I got a similar price of £160 all round for mine redone. Mine also have a red lip like Robo's.

I just payed £40 per wheel for mine to be refurbed. One needed a bit of welding as it had a slight hole in it after they blasted it,

i have to take extra care with mine as they are black and any slight scuff shows up easily, still managed to kerb one around the ENTIRE rim dropping our lass off at the shop though
