I'd rather pay £10 more and get a warranty. You need proof of purchase from a retailer for that. Nokia's are renowned for going wrong

You do if you want it repaired under warranty Munchie. Sure, take it to cpw, but u'll pay. And im not talking about just software upgrades, im talking about if the phone has a hardware fault etc. CPW wont sort that out for free just cos you smile at them.

if they are euro spec or uk spec then they will be covered by at least 12 months nokia warranty. just take your faulty handset to a nokia service centre or carphone shithouse and they will fix it for free. you wont need a reciept as the phone has been out for less than 12 months and is obviously still covered under warranty.
even if they are asian spec, you can still fiddle them through nokia service centre so they are fixed free of charge

payed £260 for mine plus P&P. £250 inc P&P ?!?! Thats a crackin price ! Cheap as Chips ! The phone is class by the way. Best phone ive had by far, even better than the new Samsung v200 in my oppinion. Cheers JOE

golfr, proof of reciept is NOT needed at the carphone warehouse, ive taken several phones there, even 2 stolen ones, for a repair and no reciept has been asked for.
