I found it's not really about the actual doing it, just the fact that you need the right equipment for it.
If you're competant at working on cars and have someone there who knows what they're doing you should be fine.

I'm just about to start on this as well! Thankfully got a good few mates who are mechanically minded to keep me on the straight and narrow.
