Evening all, after three Corsa's ive owned and ended up flogging im finally sticking with this one and fitting a redtop.

Im getting the engine , box , loom , shafts etc from my pals redtop corsa that he's breaking. Now while i have the engine out, im going to give it a service.

obviously , oil's, plugs, t belt kit , sump gasket. and a bloody good clean and paint

Is there anything else im missing here? First real steps in cutting my teeth mechanically here, excited yet nervous, lmao

Know when the head gasket was done? Maybe a good idea to do it while its out, head gasket, bolts, stem seals, clean up the head, lap in the valves maybe. Proper job like.

Clean and paint stuff while its out too
