Not necessarily the exact brand they recommend, as long as it's up to spec.

In this case though, GM stuff is cheap and correct spec.

Vag cars have their different kinds and spec, first time iv had to sit and read through numerous pages on a thread about what oils right and what isnt. 15/40 out a big random Drum in the corrner of the shed, that'll do
