na theyre only fwd unless they loose traction then the rear wheels kick in aswell

wrong, they run a haldex which only shifts power to the rear when it detects slip on the fronts. not a proper 4WD system.

searching youtube all mk4 r32's on a rolling road are fwd, mk5's however usually have all four rolling

I'm pretty sure you can buy some electronic gizmo that plugs into the obd2 port and you can choose how much power goes to the rear or even make it a rwd gold from what I understand

MK4 and MK5 R32's are AWD (not 4wd), they are mainly fwd, but shift power to the rear when needed (ie front loses grip). You can buy controllers which make it permanent 50/50 split though

just for the record lol i wasnt saying that the mk5 was 4wd just that the vids of them on the rolling roads seem to have all 4 going
