Changing the cv boots on the corsa tomorrow and not sure if I should change the ball joints while I'm there, they seem quite used but 20 quid for 2 seems quite steep

You don't need to undo the track rod end to do the CVs. I made that mistake the first time though, disconnected the fucking lot.

Lol you diddy. Balljoints need undoing, so it wouldn't be a terrible idea. I found that with the balljoint splitter I used it ripped the rubber around the ball so a new one was kind of needed.
