getting pissed off looking at my car feeling sorry for its self so as im back at work this week Im going to crack on and get it sorted, starting with a wheel refurb

which is best cost wise, quality wise ect

and any reccomendations if you will in the north west

powdercoat is more durable but paint genrally will have a better finish/more choice of colours.

oh it is . but ive never seen powdercoat as shiny as a laquered wheel.

Powder coat comes in same finishes as paint now days.
Matt. Satin. Gloss. With any colour as you can spray the wheel with paint and then use clear powder coat instead of lacquer.
Best bet is to courior them to Lemass though

ive got a set of alloys in need of a refurb, really curbed and some or them are starting to flake, what do i do the lip, do i sand it down, fill it... i duno... my mate has a compressor and spray gear so i can paint them no probs (prividing i read up on how to mix the paint/thinners and filter it etc) i dont want to use normal filler incase it just drops out

Sand it down evenly keeping the shape across the whole face/rim. Not just the bit that's kurbed. So you are removing the same amount all the way round to keep the balance.

i ave a score on the spoke of one of my wheels. how would i go about gettin g that sanded and keeping the shape of the spoke the same as all the others?

Block it down to the metal. It will probably just be the depth of the paint so won't matter

they are powder coated you imbecile, the place specialises in powder coated wheels, inside is white outside is silver
