As about the wire from my ignition amplifier to the coil burnt out the other day on my dizzy xe engine, not sure on what colour is was because it burnt out but i believe the blue wire was fine! any ideas on what could cause this as i'm baffelled! cheers chad

Dodgy connection. Could have cause a high resistance joint causing excessive current to flow thus burning the wire.
