After a bit of advice.

I am on the verge of switching to a Pro 15" i5 however I need to be 100% sure it will cater for all my needs.

It will be for work use, Now I currently use a few Windows app's in my day to day job so I am going to run Parallels 5 to combat this (remote desktop software and network tools) Does anyone have any experience of parallels 5 and how good is it? seems to get good reviews online?

Now other software that i use alot is the usual Adobe suite for web design and marketing work I do, Now on Windows i use Notepad++ to do all my html, does Mac have a similar option to this program? and I also use sticky notes alot, again any quick jotter on a mac?

I use Google Chrome and i know this has a Mac version, The adobe suite I would be looking for a "trial" version, are these still available form the "download suppliers"

When I used a Mac, I used TextWrangler for HTML editing, and Cyberduck for FTP. I think OS X has some kind of sticky notes application from what I remember.

Use Parallels here and on the whole it's ok, but i'd give VMWare a whirl as well to be honest as i've had a few issues with a couple of apps running under parallels. Virtualbox is another and is free, but i've never tried it.

TextMate is one HTML editor that i use under OSX (although i primarily develope under Windows and use HTMLPad), as Sam said, TextWrangler is one of the popular ones. For FTP i use Filezilla as i use it on windows.
As for sticky notes, OSX comes with a Notes widget/gadget.
And CS5 is freely available from friendly online "shops".
