think its possibly to do with the blanking gasket used for where the old tb used to go? could only manage to get two bolts on and on the other side there isnt any? could this be the answer to it idling so high? have taken it out for a spin christ it goes well though

Drawing air, vacuum or a gasket/seal.

ok bud. when im driving along and go for the accelerator i can hear like an air sort of sound its like you said. it reminds me of when i had an induction kit and when you stomp on the throttle you could hear like a suck. but i can hear it all the time now pretty much

Change the top alternator bolt which bolts into the inlet with the earth wires on it. The inlet hits this bolt and it doesn't sit on the lower half of the inlet properly

there are quite a few places it can be drawing in in from

that bolt hat ryan mentioned
the old tb bit
the new vacuum hoses you've made
even the hoses for the aircon

Have you checked the throttle body were it attaches to the power box I've seen a few leak air from there?

Failing that you will just have to check all pipes gaskets

Have you checked that your speedo cable is allowing ur throttle body to return to idle position? Becus I had to cut my rubber stop on the cable so that this wouldn't happen!

funny feeling ryan has the correct answer as i cant remember doing this. my car doesnt have aircon so cant be that.
