That picture is the wrong one, look on ebay search c20xe exhaust manifold, a guy on there sells them, you want the one that's got a special white coating, but message him to get one with out the coating.

What is this meant to mean?
An exhaust on any petrol car gives good gains especially c20xe!
Diesels a exhaust gives no gains power wise but still worth getting because the turbo spools up alot faster.
Are you saying that the standard manifold can cope with 200bhp (carbs whatever), which Is probably true,
but with the manifold you will get even more power.
I am not having a pop, I just do not understand what you are trying to get at?!

My point is its a very good design for a standard exhaust and dosnt need upgraded just for the fun of it.
Put 2 cars side by side with the same system, but 1 with standard and 1 with upgraded. On the Dyno the 1 with the upgraded manifold might pull a cpl of extra bhp,but on the road there will be no difference between the 2.Talking from experience here.

Tiny compared to what??
Not many cars come with a 4branch as standard. Its not that tiny in comparison to others.
What exhaust system do you have on at the moment??What bore size etc??

God, let him be, he wants to buy one for his car, not your car,
yes it will make a difference,
And the standard one if tiny compared to the bore of an ashley, btb, and such like.

I had an over-sized Ashley 1 on my old XE.Looked better.dont know if it made a difference as i bought it as a whole system with a powerflow 2.25" bore,de-cat and 1 middle box.It made a huge difference over the standard sport system but i just put that down to it being larger bore with de-cat.Went up against JordanC old XE corsa with standard mani and theyr was nothing in it.Sounded different but that was it.
Didnt kizzacorsab fit a larger bore system along with the mani??

vauxhall made the manifold the way they did for low down torque wich there already is plenty enough it is a restricting manifold up the revs
rally design are cheap for the xe 4 branch

Yep and by replacing it,you're gonna lose that low end pull.
On a standard engine its fine,on a tuned motor where high revs are needed, its a restriction.
