purple on engine loom to black on car loom?? car loom black is ignition live. there should be a black ignition live near coilpack on c20xe engine loom(normally a round sort of plug on the end if it hasnt been cut) that needs to be run back down car into the black on car loom. or an easier way is a wire from thick black going into ecu to the black on 9 pin plug on car loom.

Yeah!!! That was dowb to very flat battery! Still have same symptons as before. Although now my electric windows refuse to work

no problem and if your stuggling to flash codes up like you said in helpzone fin the brown/yellow wire on your corsa 9 pin plug and earth it somewhere on car and should flash codes

Connecyed black to black exactly same problem. Doesnt have exhaust properly connected up so very lous this late

Have you got everything plugged in??AFM etc??

Have you tried starting it with the AFM disconnected??

Because it may be at fault.If its not plugged in,it can run off the Ecu base map.If its faulty(depending on how bad),it wont run when plugged in.
