Hi, every now and then my engine management light comes on, then if i put the clutch down my car stalls, once i start it back up the light goes off. Anyone know how to fix this?

sounds like a faulty or intamitent sensor, .If the revs are dying off it could be idle control valve or throttle position sensor or related fuel sensors.Id check over all the wiring and connections to see for fouling or wiring problems.
