anyone else experienced this?

went to pull out £250 last night, everything went as normal, except when it came to giving me the notes all i heard was all this paper crumpling up. I managed to wrestle a £20 note from machine and thats all i got.

My bank says £250 was taken out, they going to try and claim it back, (wasn't the banks cashpoint)

Well pissed off, as it could take 2-3weeks

i did tell them i got the £20, didn't want to bother lying about £20, when i have £230 to lose.

Funnily enough i needed the money to pay for some ebay wheels i went to collect lastnight (for escort) Didn't take me long to tell him i had a corrado.

to which he said he helped put in a clutch on his mates one which is 4wd and running the r32 engine and 750bhp, i didn't believe it.

Then when we were talking about car tax, he seemed very shocked that the corrado was a 2.9, as if he didn't know anything

You'll get it back, but it will just take time. Every single note in the cash machine will be logged some sort of database. This database will show that there is too much money in the cash machine then there should be.

I left £50 hanging out of a cash machine on a Friday night, went into the bank on Monday to tell them about something different but ended up saying to them about it. They ended up refunding me it, quite a happy surprise given I was the dafty in the situation.

Unless someone was stood right behind you at the cash point, and used it after you (therefore taking your money), the machine will have taken it back in.

Money retained does not go into a "database" lol It's gets "purged" and goes into seperate part of the machine.
When the machines is refilled, the purge case is empty and any money from it is rmeoved. The person then checks back by the roll of receipts the machines keeps, and will be able to see the error. 2-3 weeks is ridiculous

Definetely Callum, I'm sure I saw a wee junky looking fuck sticking his head out the chinky's as if he could smell it hanging there. I had parked right next to the cash machine, got out and got straght back in the car. Drove about half a mile up the road and only then did I realise, but the worst thing is that I then went to check my balance to see if it had gone back in and left my bank card as well just remembered that was the reason I had to go to the bank anyway.

I still get the pish ripped out of me whenever I'm going up to a bank out with my mates
