Found one on ebay for 17 squid any place to get one cheaper? Also do I need a 2 way?

you want a manual boost controller not a bleed valve

In my experience from running a 1.7TD Cav, a bleed valve will be fine - ran one at 23psi for well over a year without any loss of boost pressure. Ever.

My cousin also runs one on his 1.9 D-Turbo 306, and again hits 21-22psi without any issues and has done for a year now, and it's still going strong.

In fact, he had more issue with it with one of them MBC jobbers than he has done with a cheapo pikey Bleed Valve
