how do you end up with it black as u cant use normall dye the 1 i have can only be used in washer , i thought normal spray paint would go wierd after some time just wondering how they get done ?

Auto Glym do a black dye.

and then i just spray it on same with the pillars how do u get them black

check shaunmods project....he did his last week and used aerosol paint

Mine was done with standard matt black aerosol paint a year ago. Its fine.

i was told by a reliable vxl guru near medan(J200RSA ) on here just spray itwith satin black paint i did and it looks mint
word of caution though you'll need 4 or 5 tins
and if your gunna do the sunroof blind (sliding bit) you'll need to drop the full sunroof to get it out.
with the pillars plastic filler primer then spray satin black 1 or 2 tins will do them all

no probs check j200rsa on here his corsa is guaranteed total vx front cover when finished

dont try the black dye, i bought 2 spray cans of it and although it looks good when you spray it, once its dried and soaked in its hardly black, i used 3 or 4 spray cans of gloss black from poundland and its much better, even though its gloss it dries matt

for the pillars i took them to work, sand blasted them on low pressure to roughen them up , sprayed with poundland white primer then poundland gloss black, came out fine

A friend did spray paint on his 3 series roof lining and it still looked great over a year later.
