great write up there and its quite accurate for once.

i'm similar, i've loved them since seeing them as a kid and my dad nearly bought a G60 once.

When you read the development story you can see why VW aren't very fond of them, cost a fortune to develop, i think it was the designers who asked for the budget to be increased 3 times, then VW stopped it and said enoughs enough. Probably why some of it isn't built too well.

all handbuilt at the Karmann factory

great car, great history and it will become classic/rare etc

semi-decent one on rado forum atm for £1100, owner has kept dropping price, just needs a bit of paint

can't believe its not sold yet tbh

i mean alot of corrado reviews have figures and stats all over the place, or confused them with the US specs

nah, the US VR6 (SLC Corrado) is the 2.8 from the golf.

only europe got the 2.9 with larger throttle body and less restrictive manifold

its because people can't afford or are scared of corrados reputation imo, they aren't very popular amoungst young drivers.

I guess E30's are more in demand atm, plus they are rwd

corrado should of been rwd imo, then it would of been a winner

I can't say no. as they do cost a far bit when something breaks. but its not like its always stuck at the side of the road. things wear out quickly and the parts are expensive.
