Not read the whole thread but to convict somebody of any crime there must be the 'actus reus' and the 'mens rea', Meaning there must be the guilty act and the guilty mind, so in essence even if you physically dress as a police officer unless it can be proved you are doing so with the intent of ACTUALLY impersonating an officer than you have committed no crime... So basically, aslong as you don't attempt to apprehend anybody you shouldn't be arrested lol.
