Coming from a focus rs because he doesnt get on with it i doubt he'd be intersted in an older ford rs.

I vote supercharged lotus exige and not much change left over to buy a diesel frontera that you can not give a shit about.

If you want something to go off road, get a defender. One with all the bits i.e protection for diffs etc maybe a 2" lift if its only for fun?
