Decent day today, so thought i'd give the Clio a well needed clean as i dont think the previous keeper cleaned it much.

My genuine timing & auxiliry belt kits arrived today so fitting them tomorrow so i can finally take it out and give it a good seeing to.
Also polybushed my dogbone mount through the week.

Anywho, some half decent pictures.

Washed it with Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo, then gave it a 'Clay Bar' & Polished it with Autoglym 'Ultra Deep Shine', rain came before i could wax it.

Usually rub then work the bar to a fresh bit for each panel.
Wash it under the tap when i'm done.

Rub never roll!

Nice work mate, but get some wax on there as soon as you can - you'll need to polish again too as UDS is just a glaze so contains no protection elements at all

Thanks Rich, i was intending to wax it straight after UDS but it pissed down directly after.

EDIT - Rich, should i SRP it after the UDS as well? or before?
Its in my mates shed with no front end ATM til my new alternator/AC pump mounts arrive.

Took up there to do my belts out the way since his shed is fucking massive and more suitable than my drive, only to discover the alternator was sitting off slightly (wondered why the aux belt was so badly worn).
Turns out someone broke 2 out of the 3 points that hold the alternator and just built it back up anyway.

Luckily i've sourced some through an eBay breaker so they should arrive midweek.

Personally I don't rate UDS that much It hasn't got any abrasives either.

Definitely use SRP prior to UDS, you can then apply UDS over the top if you want to. Then stick some wax down
