Would you recommend the soft or normal BH clay?

Normal if the car has never been clayed before or if its been a while and soft if you keep on top of your car

Soft is fine for most people tbh. Regular is good advice for a car that's never been clayed before though.

Expect it to marr the paint a bit though.

Il be needing a new clay bar after the state of mine today
Wheel arches and bottom of doors is the worst bits with tar, boot is too so away to attack it just now. Although I think the boot could be bits of diesel soot?

Was gonna say Rich, normal can be a bit harsh but a lot of people have used it with a lot of lube and its been alright! Don't know how true that is though
And yeah, you will find that the drivers side is probably worse than the passenger side as well lol!
You may want to look at getting Tar remover to use before you clay as you will go through the clay quicker if you remove tar with it as you need to keep folding

Usually if you have dirt in a clay bar or something and rub it all over your paint and fuck it up.

My car hasn't moved most of winter so isn't too bad. But I think its going to have to be at least April before I get the bucket and sponge out.
