decided im going towire myamp in but the red power lead has no fuse
just a long piece of wire with the battery ring terminal
any ideaswhat fuse to use its 8awg wire by the way

Deffo put in a fuse, as close to the battery as possible. Whats the power or current rating of the Amp? (Watts or Amps writen on a plate somewhere on it)

I'd say 30A fuse or breaker at the battery. Considering the max current you can pull through 8AWG is 30A and thats at only 15ft See Here.
The fuses in the amp are to protect the AMP from overcurrent, not the CABLE.
