hi guys bought some 80mm rear springs for my car now iv fitted them i think there possibley 90-100mm? what do you guys reckon? wheels are 195/45/16 uprated shocks ,at the moment the head and a few other bits are off at the front, and couple of not really heavy bits in the back, been this low my tyres are touching the arch as soon as i let it off the jack so will be getting rid as i didnt know you had to mod the arches been this low? so if anyone wants to buy them or swap for 70mm

opinions please many thanks lee

how it used to sit:

my old springs apparantly 60mm?

They look very short, maybe suppose to be 80mm but poundage may be wrong but that sits equivalent to 100mm

Those black springs on the left look broken. Look how the red ones taper out then back in, the black ones look like they have been squashed.

I would say theres a chance they have been heated up & compressed.

Either way, they look fucked and deserve to be in the bin.

Ok well I didn't pay much for them anyway could you explain why they 'look fucked' ? I'll take them off tonight and take a pic of them in daylight.

Thanks shaun I believe there perfectly fine they fit on the car as they should there's less coils on them being so small so will be a slightly different design to my 60s I'm not goin to sell dodgy items these are perfectly fine but I'm not going to argue with you if that's what you think your entitled to an opinion thanks lee
