Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the possible problem of a mates car.

It's an 04 Corsa C SXi 1.2 (Z12XE)

The engine management light keeps coming on when he hits like 50ish mph, and it starts to lose power then when it idles the revs go up and down. If you turn the engine off then back on it will stop until you get to 50ish again? The engine also makes a sort of tappy sound wen it loses power.

Hope that makes sence as I wrote it on my phone.

Push the brake and clutch down, turn the ign on, count the flashes to get the code.
