Just looking for some information for my grandad who is looking at selling his private plate..

dont know much about how it works etc, so if anyone can shine some light on this please as im sure theres people on here that have done it before..

also, at a guess what sort of value it holds?

Depending whether you have a buyer and whether it's going straight on their car, you need to fill the form in accordingly.

If the car is being sold then you'll need the plate off. If not then it will be cheaper to wait until you have a buyer. Otherwise you would need to name yourself as the Nominee and change that at a later date.

vct 1 is on retention at the moment btw

any good/well known valuation sites out there that he could use? dont want people ringing etc with silly offers...
