I'm at the end of my tether with this bloody Corsa I've managed the whole conversion myself with no issues, it starts/runs without fault but the gear linkage has me stumped. I've tried 2 known-good linkages on it without sucess so im now prepared to pay for someone to sort it.
The first thing to try will be setting up the linkage I already have. I've only spent 30 minutes on it but couldnt get any gears properly.
If this fails I'd need somebody confident of knowing how the linkage needs to be modified and undertaking this. This may mean cutting and welding, or maybe even making a rose jointed bar for adjustment.
Ideally I'd like it done here, obviously I'll pay for fuel cost as well, so it would suit somebody within an hour or so from Nottingham. If I really get stuck I will a-frame the car to somebody but this is a last resort.
I don't really want to pay any random person for their time, more somebody who knows their way round gear linkages, a MIG welder and an F28 box and can guarantee I leave with all 7 gears selectable
Thanks
Ben

Dale - I've tried 2 linkages, both off reputable sellers who said they worked fine on their LET Corsa F28's. Both I've done the drill bit thing with.
Mieran = There's small holes on the linkage you can drop a drill bit into, when they are all aligned the linkage is "reset" to factory
Jambo - I wont give up mate it just means I cant drive it right now Summer is coming and i want to!

ok but where are they from?
Mine is an M-Tec from LMF as stated above no problems
I used the nylon bushes too, mine works spot on everytime and nice and tight
I modified the end as per instructions
Then drill bit in selector (5mm)
and drill bit in gearbox (5mm)
Sorted
I can't understand how its not working for you

Dale I'll give that a try and get pics up. I suspect my 2 linkages weren't modded enough although the owners say they worked fine
