How common are these post 1994? I have a 96, but when i go to buy parts, i have to say its a 94 because there are no records of a 96 1.2 8v over here

common as muck between 93/97. Not so many post 97 but still a few

1.2 8v was in production until 98.
It was largely superseded by the 1.0 12v but there is a bit of an overlap.

Maybe its one of a handful of remaining imported opels with a distibutor over here
