its insured, declared SORN and has no MOT, can I drive it to the garage to get an MOT done on it? cant tax it with no mot, post office is next door to the garage so as soon as I have the pass cert I can tax it before I drive home?

If I walk upto the garage and book it in I can drive it to the garage with no tax and mot cant I?

I'll be doing this soon with a mates old car. Its insured, but what proof would you need to carry to prove you ARE going to an MOT if you were stopped by police?

Just tell them, if they dont take your word for it then tell them to phone the garage and ask them

Battery will only be buggered if its been sat and not started to give it a charge or had it on a charger
