Sometimes when i start my car, it will start fine but then the revs wil drop to around 400rpm and struggles abit. After a few seconds the revs will rise up to normal idle rpm. My egr valve has been blanked off due to it getting stuck open, so i was thinking it may be idle control valve but im not sure. Once the revs have picked up its fine and drives like it should.

i would have said egr but you've said it's been blanked, it's not burnt through has it?

Burnt through what mate? the blanking plate? I could check but it was only done at the end of january
