Apparently there was a blockade at Stanlow last night, it's been mentioned on Real Radio a few times today but that's all I've heard about it, a quick Google hasn't shed any light either

Can I be the first to say how pointless higher octane diesel is concidering diesel doesn't have a RON rating. Save ya cash
Derv has a cetane number rather than a octaine rateing.
V power Derv has a higher Cetane number than normal stuff.
Its still a waste of money though.

Was just about to post saying its cetane numbers for diesel
An equivalent to v power is adding millers diesel sport to each tank, that increases the cetane rating
I cant ever see petrol coming back down below £1.
And I laugh at people travelling an extra 10 miles to get petrol 2p cheaper at a local shell, their only saving £1 on a 50l tank. Pennies hardly make a difference unless your buying large quantities on a regular basis

it will just creep up in other ways - ie the cost of oil in general a etc
It will never come down
it sbeen above £1.30 for a while now and people have only really gone mad when its been getting nearly £1.40. In 6 months time it will be £1.40 and that will be the norm

It's 129.9 for petrol here now and 136.9 for diesel, apparently Yorkshire has the cheapest in the country?

At school most kids got burger, chips and beans with one of those drinks you pierce with the red straw (not capri sun, the one with the flat top).
I would get two plates of chips and beans plus two of the drinks.
Then I'd pour one plate onto the other and have a mountain of food.
All the other kids would be jealous with their BSE ridden beef shit. (btw, I ate BSE ridden beef at the time too, but the stuff you'd get in school was just ground up bones and brains)
