My car is for sale on Auto Trader. I've already had 1 person 'working at sea' willing to offer the full amount via PayPal and a 'mover' will collect for his son.

This is the latest one. I've replied once knowing it's a scam.

The car is in good condition. A few stone chips and one noticeable car park ding.

I have re-advertised at £4,750. I am open to offers.

Hello Mate, thanks for the response, i will like to buy the vehicle but as at now am at the sea due to my work as a Military officer, so i just want to know much about the vehicle and the present condition as MOT ..wait to hear back from you..

Regards,
Morgan.

Baring in mind the MOT is stated on the advert, as is the condition. What shall I reply with next?

When I get emails like this I tend to engage them in conversation as long as possible, ask them random questions until they either leave you alone, or their automated reply system or what ever has nothing to respond with.

Does it not say about the MOT in the advert?

Also, I'm also in the armed forces. Which regiment are you in and for whose army?

I don't do anything with them because it's just showing your email address is valid and worth annoying.

Yeah, I noticed my grammar.

Not as bad as his though

My email address is widely available on the internet (other ads) so nothing new to them I'm sure.
