my hoover thingy , dont know what its called on my 1.6 corsa sport R reg , what does it actualy do ??? and what benifits do i get for removeing it ????? thanks sam.

its on the right hand side ov the engine bay and its linked to a part on the exhaust manifold and a vacuum i think

Thats the best thing I have ever heard it get called!
Secondary air injection unit?
Warms the CAT up when you start the engine, its for emissions and there are no gains from removing it

I dont know exactly but so many people have them blanked off and are fine with MOT's its only a tiny bit of emissions that it accounts for IIRC, someone will correct me if I am wrong though

It only warms the cat up when it's cold and turns off when the engine's run for a bit.

the reson i was askin cuz i bought it on monday and the prev MOT sed it failed on emitions only so just tryin to get it running as sweet as possible and yeah it will look alot better i recon
