just cause its got a f20 dont mean its bodged, mine had a f16cr fitted for 3 years, drove it every day, hard aswell, the box is still going strong now 2 years later, engine is running over 300bhp.
not every box is as bad as the other, its when gearbox oil ect is never changed that dont help.

Then perhaps you looked after it? But you are right some boxes are fine, but majority will just die.

hes an idiot if you ask me, if you seem like you know anything about c20let's he wont let you view it or anything, i was offering him the full asking price of 3k and he wouldnt let me view it, he wanted me to bid on ebay without viewing it and now hes dropped price to 2500 so summits gotta be seriously up!!!

Why is it most XE/LET converted cars always seem to have between 80k and 90k on the engine??Ive noticed that alot over the years.They never seem to put the miles on even though they are as good as or near enough over 15yrs old.
