Just got my renewal quote from Brentacre on my 1.6 Sport with exhaust, suspension and air filter declared. I'll be 20, 2 years license, 2 years no claims, £1700 Fully Comp!!
I would have been happy with that quote @ your age, it cost me £5,500 to inure a 206 Gti @ 21, an £4,400 to insure a Golf 1.8T @ 22
It's not that it's a bad quote, just that it's what i paid last year. And the fact i can insure newer, quicker cars for less. Makes me want to get out of making the Corsa into too much of a money pit really

Honestly, where do you people find these companys. I was 18 with my 1.6 with 1 ncb and it was £800 then when i was 19 it was £600 and then at 20 my astra gsi was £750. Policys had my mum as a named driver.
All fully comp.

Mines with all modifications declared and can go up to 130bhp as well though. Standard i'd probably be looking at under £1000
