Gold Fiat Punto 1.2 60SX
(when I first saw the car it was night time and I thought it was yellow )

I fitted a Kenwood minidisc player, speakers and a K&N filter. I thought it was a rocket. Then I got beaten at the lights by a mk4 Fiesta 1.25 or 1.4 and realised it was slow and shit.

I don't miss it at all! I miss my 2nd car, my Ford Fiesta Zetec-S mk5

1.6 8v spi mk3 astra, drove it like an absolute tit on country roads which ended in that. Ended up going over a hump in the road at 80mph on purpose but actually took off. Managed to save it one way but then over corrected it and the back wheel locked up - I slid at a 45degree angle for abot 30 feet before smashing into a rock at about 60mph, which sent me into about 5 or 6 360 spins. Me and my two mates were ok, if a little shaken up. Didn't help that that throttle had jammed open and the thing was revving its tits off either.

If there ever was a case of changing driving style after crashing though you're looking at it.

I remember my first crash after visiting Jambo. I took a load of mates out for a spin and they were shouting "faster, faster!!" down a country road...... I listened to them and nearly went off a verge overlooking a steep hill.

Had to stop in Marlow to kick the bumper off the tyre

1.2 16v Corsa B GLS AC. Loved it to bits, did like 30k in it in a year. Then some little cunt at school kicked the side of it in while havoing a fag and I lost interest. Sold it on.

class it as running repairs mate!

I did the same with the Corsa on a spirited drive (difference this time being I was alone) and spun round a corner into a barbed wire fence. I got out to see that I was about 8 inches away from having fallen over a 5 foot drop into a field below

Didn't think I had this on the comp but this is what happened with the thing afer some unknown circumstances :

I paid £40 for my first car, a K Reg, Clio 1.2 RL Prima in red back in 2004.

It needed 4 new tyres, front brakes, an exhaust back box, the rear arches were shot, the clutch was slipping, the sump was cracked, it had a water leak, rocker gasket was leaking and the gearbox also had an oil leak. It also had a knackered track rod end and needed a drive shaft.

I'd never worked on cars before but my step dad was a mechanic so he taught me how to fix it up. I spent 3 months repairing her and she was on the road with tax and test for £300 all in. I was chuffed, real sense of achievement getting her all fixed up.

She lasted 18months then i gave her away as she was on her last legs.

Here was mine. Only 28,000 miles on it and sold it nearly a year ago, but still no driving test yet for another while.

First car was 2000 Corsa SXi (with 2 years free insurance, awesome in NI for a new driver, to be honest) from new, still sitting at the top of the drive at home, mint, will never sell it tbh.

Peugeot 106 xs 1.4, paid 400 quid for it, broke every week and ended up scrapping it after 2 months when the clutch went.
