...the bullshit merchants when trying to buy a used car?
"Mint" apparently includes:
- missing fog light from the front bumper and dented grill
- keyed down one side
- baldy rear tyres
- stains from i-dont-wanna-know-what all over the front seats
- corroded alloys
- fag smoke stench
Also, best not telling prospective buyers you got it trade off a mate that works for a dealership instead of it going to auction, means I'll be damned if I'm paying retail.
Might be an idea to stick a little tax on it so they don't have to break the law to test drive it either.
Coup de gras? Well, if using a mobile number and being away from home, its a bit bizarre you left it behind no? That would make it your pay'n'go car trading mobile, well then you really should have one for each car you're trading, instead of going "which car for sale" giving the game away again, its not really a private sale.

Lad at my work is like this, describes cars as "mint" never seen anything like some of them!!
I went to look at a Corsa C for the missus, the rear fogs in the bumper were pop rivited in (silver rivets on a black bumer) and i said "whats all that about? the fogs are riveted in" the reply i got "yeah but the rivets are symetrical both sides"
Needless to say, i certainly didnt but it!!!

The missus is after a new car and she found one on autotrader at a dealers 60 miles away, described as mint and with black leather interior (with pics showing this) when we got there the seats were red cloth and knackered, the "refurbished" wheels looked like someone had rattle canned over the corrosion.
