i no few people have got the 2.0 8v ne engine in there cars. what power have you got out of them and what modifcations have you done
im looking at doing some bits to mine but on certain forums i just get told to get faster calibra but i want to know what can be achived cheers
i know my calibra wont be really quick with this engine but looking at what kind of figures these engines can produce what i was thinking of doing was exhaust manifold
maybe de-cat (not sure if the engines like this? )
race tube and back box
performance cam + pully ( unsure what make)
bike carbs

I know its for the C20SEH, but they aint much different in terms of mods needed, the SEH is just the more tuned up version.
I fitted a cam on my SEH and went really well, was a kent one; dont need pulley if its a road spec one.

im probs talking shit but someone told me that vaux 8v's can be turbo'd nicely, know a lad who was goin to have a 1.6 8v block with a 1.4 8v ported head, cammed, with a turbo of a ford rst escort. maybe something you could do with a turbo??
that'll be a hell of a job id imagine but cs would love it
