Skoda Felicia (pick up / van), 1.9 Diesel R reg.

When the engine is off, it will go into all the gears with no problem.

When the engine is turned on, it is really stiff going into every gear. When going for 1st gear and trying to set off it struggles like it's in 3rd gear.

At 1st I thought gearbox but now thinking clutch.

I'm in Barnsley and the van is in Manchester so I can't really look at it until later on in the week.

Please help.

Sounds like a fucked clutch. My van did this about 50metres before the clutch went pop

Meters or Miles?

Just been to the garage where I used to work and he has said Clutch.

Looks like i've got some fun ahead of me!
