Damn i look good in that photo and we done 8laps of Combe and the range said 403 miles when done it showed 285 but he still had a full tank lol he has converted me so if anyone wants to buy my zafira as I now want a 888 and I will get one lol

Yeah 888 cdti same as in my avatar.

And the mpg today was 57.6.

how OAP-like must you have been driving!

65-75mph..

Cruise control and it was all motorway mileage.

Plus I get that all back at 40p a mile from work.

so 180 miles x .40p = £72 in my pocket for driving carefully.

Very good results!

I've learnt though that never take what he computer gives you as a given. My Audi was like 8 mpg out when I did the sums!

Even if it's out by say 10%, its still prtty good.

Considering I have come from a V6 Vectra that averaged 35mpg at best.

Same here. My R26 is about 3 or 4 mpg better than what it says on the screen

I actually cant get better than that whether i drive like a coont or not atm so decided to just fuck it and get a 6 cyclinder one now

Barring a play with an rs I did just bumble along at 70 all the way there and back though so thats probably where I gained all the miles from
