Some brilliant pics in there. The one of the r32 with the castle/arch way in the back ground is superb.

popped down to watch this as 20mins from mine.....spare motor is now getting bought for a forged build for the 6 over winter...not quite the 700+bhp the evos are running but i think 550bhp will be more than enough for the road haha

nah just cant justify spending the money for say 450bhp, so im going to build the motor to do 550-600bhp, do a few track days etc, see how involved i get then tbh

i dont follow?
If you cant justify the price of 450bhp how on earth have you convinced yourself to aim for 600bhp
In all honesty - 600bhp for an Evo track car will be expensive to keep on track. 400-450bhp is much more sensible, less strain on TX, gearbox etc etc
I dont know your history either.... if you havent done many trackdays you may just be slower with 600bhp compared to 400bhp.
E.g. with 400 you'll you have to push, rather than with 600 where you'll you have to work to keep in check.
Not wanting to sound patronising, but it may come accross that way
My Impreza is 380bhp on MAX boost and I've never used that yet... i'm still learning the handling limits (I exceed them then work back ). Its plenty fast enough for regular track days - too fast sometimes (if with hatches etc)

stock rods are only good for about 390-400bhp...so if i wanted just 450bhp its alot of money to do a forged build for 60-70bhp if that makes sense. and speaking to gaz @cpp stock box and trans will take 550bhp as long as dont launch it like a hero. i no exactly what you mean about having all the power but no good if cant drive it fast enough, its just for the expense of going forged i may aswel build the motor so if need be i could run it to 550bhp...even if ran 400, 450, 500bhp on dif boost settings/maps...hopefully that makes abit more sense?:S haha

aye, you can turn the boost down I suppose but its a long/expensive way to get 400+
I'd use the car is is - with changes to make it handle (good suspension, amazing brakes, grippy tyres and oil'ing mods)
THEN up the power once you are jumping up and down in your seat wanting more BOOOST

fit?
The BC's?
After all my slating them before trying them - they arent that bad.
We had a horrendous knocking from one... turned out to be the main nut had come a bit loose (should have checked this but i assumed they were all tight from factory/set up).
They are comparable with the TEIN RS Circuit Masters anyway... better/worse - too soon to tell really. They are maybe a little harsher (same rates but they do offer 10 clicks more refinement on dampning and rebound).
So aye, not bad but still testing really.
