Bought some new lifters as ive recently had my xe rebuilt. Problem is there quiet when cold but go noisy once warm my old ones were fine in comparison. just wondering if there shite as they were considerably less than genuine INA ones.

geoff is no doubt helpful...your buying parts from him. some of his cams ive used in engines...that the customer have got from him and worked well.
ive also used his double valve springs and steel retainers and the retainers were either too soft or taper machined wrong as it pulled one valve through and touched piston and pulling another 5 or 6 valves through.....NOT good at all. the lad who bought the caps and springs has the caps back but i dont know whether he has spoke to geoff about them yet or not.
the saying is: you get what you pay for....so bear that in mind.
his guides are good, and his valves are ok in an N/A engine but they are 1mm longer above the collet...which is a tad odd and i wouldnt use them on a turbo, id use genuine or REC on a LET after some experiances people have had.
